The same celebrities talking about Black Lives Matter are the same ones that break their neck to spend every dollar on Gucci, Prada, Versace, Christian Dior, etc. These are all NON black companies that have done absolutely nothing for black people and NEVER WILL. Put your $ where your mouth is. BLACK DOLLARS matter too. Must I mention how they also got rid of their BLACK NOSES as soon as they stepped foot in Hollywood. Pick a side! If they walk, talk and look FAKE, yes maam/sir THEY ARE FAKE!
I didn't just become proud of being black. I've been loving and embracing my black features my whole life, my wide nose, my brown skin and natural curves. I've been speaking about the plight of my black people in my music since day one, black women, black men, black hairstyles, black problems and black joy. I celebrate my blackness every chance I get. I don't know anything else. It's what both of my black parents instilled in me since birth. I've been supporting and mentioning black artists, black designers and black businesses as well. Let's all be honest, how many black designers do you wear? How many black owned businesses do you really support? How many black owned restaurants do you eat at? How many black owned record labels have you purchased music from? Protesting and posting on social media is only about 30% of the work that has to be done. SUPPORT BLACK BUSINESSES. Embrace your black people, that includes black Muslims and people that are different from you also. We are black too.
